Hello! I'm Darcy Ramsdell, and I'm a speech-language pathologist based in Wells, Maine. As an SLP, I am passionate about helping children with speech and language disorders as well as children with literacy and executive functioning challenges. I believe that every child is unique and I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where each child feels comfortable working to improve their communication skills.

With both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees earned from the University of New Hampshire, coupled with over a decade of experience as a speech-language pathologist, I bring extensive expertise to my practice. My master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a concentration in language and literacy, underscores my commitment to excellence in addressing speech, language, and literacy challenges to children in the Southern Maine area.

In my practice, I take a client-centered, evidence-based approach to therapy. I believe in collaborating with my clients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals. I am dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field of speech therapy, and I regularly attend workshops and conferences to expand my knowledge and skills.

During my leisure hours, enjoy being at my Wells home with my husband and children. I find joy in sipping my first cup of coffee in the morning. I love to travel, read and enjoy running and walking for exercise.
